MAVA held the first national conference in many years for volunteer administrators from across the country. The attendees were professionals who oversee volunteer programs in sectors including faith communities, health care, social service, education, government, grassroots organizations and more.

The conference included five breakout sessions across two days that focused on strategic issues for the field. The graphic recordings from each session were moved to the plenary room to enable participants attending other breakout sessions to see what was covered. In the final session of the conference, participants voted on priorities for next steps.
